Catch up post...

Now to cram our month of March into one post. We have had a busy month & I am terrible at keeping up on this blog. So here we go.

I finally found Easter dresses for the girls that I LOVE! I found them for an AMAZING price & I couldn't make them for cheaper then I paid for them. I wanted to go with a bright poke-a-dot theme this year. Which ended up being hard since they are all 3 in different sizes. Kelsey is in youth sizes, Lindsey is still in Children's (Barely) & Sadie is in Toddler. I am sort of OCD & they all have to coordinate. This was funny because when I bought them Bryan says to me "What are we doing on Easter that is so special that the girls need a new dress?" Silly man!! Doesn't he know that girls get new dresses on Easter & Christmas!! hahaha =)

Next, Sadie has been the funniest kid lately. Last night she kept insisting that Daddy needed the stool from the bathroom. She kept bringing it to him & giggling.

She also was obsessed with brushing poor Zeppelin's hair. He was so good & just sat there & let her torment him.

Bryan's mom sent us a Valentines day package. It had 2 bottles of Matta's salsa (which lasted not even 2 days.), these super cute & comfy heart Jammie's for the girls, an outfit for Sadie & TONZ of sweets (like these lollipops.)!!

Have I mentioned how much we LOVE the ZOO here? We went to the Zoo with one of our good friends from our ward. They are such a great family. They have 6 girls & Joani is the most amazing mom. Such a great example to me!! I have truly enjoyed our friendship. Her husband (Austin) is in the Air force & they are being transferred in June. We will be very sad to see them leave. On the 5th of March we went to Sioux City Iowa with Bryan. Bryan was going to go alone so he rented a car so the girls & I would have a car all weekend. Then once he got there he called me & said "Hey why don't you & the girls hop in the car & come stay the night with me in this nice hotel?" So we did. It was a 2 1/2 hr. drive but the girls did really well & we had tons of fun. Then on our way home the next day Kelsey & Lindsey rode with dad in the rental car & Sadie & Zeppelin rode with me. The highway shut down about 1 hour away from home due to a roll over car accident. WE got to see the helicopter fly in & out with whoever was in the car. Sadie sat back & watched a movie & didn't make a peep. This is a picture of the accident as we drove slowly by after waiting for over 45 min.

WOW things take FOREVER to dry here!! In Arizona it would have taken a matter of hours to dry but NO we live in NEBRASKA & it took OVER 24 hours to dry!! I just barely finished the table today & here it is Tuesday!! I guess that the dry heat is good for something!!!

So Saturday my amazing husband helped me fill all the cracks & seams in the top of the table & he sanded it smooth for me! I am so lucky to have him!! Then once all the putty dried we painted & the painting didn't take long at all. It was so fun to work on a project together.

While we were waiting for the putty to dry the girls enjoyed a new gift from their Grandma & Grandpa Davis. They sent them the Linkin' Logs set. We all sat down as a family & tried to make a house! It was really fun. I forgot how hard they can be though.

Project Weekend....

I have vowed to be a better blogger!! I have so much I want to remember about these 1st few years of my girls lives. I always LOVED how my mom could remember exactly how old I was when I said something or did something silly. I want to be more like that. So here is to my VOW to being a better blogger.
Yesterday I started a 'New' System with Kelsey & Lindsey. I say 'New' Because I have tried it before but have not succeeded so we have tweaked it & now I believe it JUST may work!! We have started a new Chore system. I want my girls to learn responsibility at a young age & to also learn the value of money & how hard it is to earn it. So I printed of a chore chart & for everything they complete in that day they get a sticker next to it. Once they have received a sticker for every space they get $.10. I thought that was too much but it has proven to be PLENTY!! They have yet to earn anything except stickers. Then at the end of the month if they have completed their "chores" willingly & have behaved well then they get their new piggie banks I found at Target for $1. I was so excited.
So Kelsey says to me today..."mom I have been working REALLY hard to earn my stickers....when do I get the MONEY?" Oh sweet Kelsey!! She CRACKS me up. So I explained to her that once she had earned her money I would give it to her. She then told me.." Well when I get my money I'm going to save it so I can buy something BIG." I think she is getting the idea.

I love being a mom & I am so blessed to have 3 beautiful, healthy girls.

Something Random & FUNNY!!

Sadie NEVER stops cracking us up!! She is so full of energy & life. I LOVE IT!! She is such a spirited little girl. I love this age. From birth to about 2 years is my favorite age. They are so pure & sweet! They are just developing their little attitudes & personalities.

Well our sweet Sadie is a lot like her big sister Kelsey. Kelsey would always so things that were so random. Like When she would put on Bryan's Beanie & then she LOVED to dress up in her dolls clothes & run around the house all crazy. What a NUT!! Well Sadie has started this thing where she shows us her teeth & squishes up her nose up & then blows air through her teeth really fast. Only last night she decided that she was going to have a plastic spoon in her mouth while she did it! Bryan & I were DYING with laughter! She kept walking around the family room with the spoon in her mouth & she knew she was funny, because she would turn around & look at us all cheesy!! Man I LOVE being a mom!! I am SO BLESSED!!

Ok so this is a better picture of how much weight I have lost since we moved here. This is me at 20 lbs gone & 30 left. Since this picture I have lost 5 more & so I only have 25 lbs left to loose! I feel great!

Sadie got this Glow worm doll from Christa, while we were in Kansas for Christmas. It lights up & plays soft music. She LOVES IT!!! She will NOT go to sleep without it lately!! It cracks me up. She will have her bottle in one hand & her worm in the other. I use to have one like this when I was a kid too. It is funny how somethings keep coming back.
